At the Gaming Industry's Largest Tradeshow
E3, LOS ANGELES, May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
BAM! Entertainment (Nasdaq: BFUN) today announced it will showcase a broad
portfolio of titles resulting from the company's film and television strategic
relationships on PlayStation(R) 2, Xbox(TM) game console, GameCube(TM),
Game Boy(R) Advance, PlayStation(TM) One, and PC CD-ROM during the Electronic
Entertainment Expo (E3), May 22-24. BAM! Entertainment is located in
West Concourse, room #153-B.
BAM! Entertainment will offer something for everyone from games based on
action films to television's most popular cartoon characters. Some of the
titles to be debuted include:
Reign Of Fire
BAM! is bringing Spyglass Entertainment's major motion picture to multiple
gaming platforms beginning this fall. Reign of Fire, a post-apocalyptic
action film starring Matthew McConaughey and Christian Bale, is being
developed for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance.
Reign of Fire is a third-person game taking place over scorched landscapes,
the result of battles between two species competing for survival -- human and
dragon. The title will tout stunning visual effects, environment rendering,
and a variety of fearsome battles.
Ecks vs. Sever
Based on this fall's movie from Franchise Pictures, Ecks vs. Sever is the
story of two spies who are lifelong adversaries. Engaged in a cat-and-mouse
game, Jonathan Ecks (Antonio Banderas) is an FBI agent hunting Sever
(Lucy Liu), a rogue NSA agent. With 20 single player and four-player
missions, gamers can play as either Ecks or Sever and alternate roles
throughout the game as the storyline progresses. Ecks vs. Sever for the
PlayStation 2 offers locations modeled after the actual film sets and multiple
realistic weapons each with their own special effects and animations. BAM!
will also showcase the Game Boy Advance version.
The Powerpuff Girls(TM)
Continuing on the success of BAM!'s previous Cartoon Network(TM) games,
which have sold over 2 million units worldwide, the company now brings the
heroic trio to the PlayStation(R) 2. Players must fight and destroy a host of
enemies and villains such as Mojo Jojo, The Gangreen Gang and Him. Players
can take their role as superhero supreme by completing dozens of exciting
missions designed to test their gaming ability and deploy devastating super
powers including laser eyes and a host of new super powers. The Powerpuff
Girls(TM): Gamesville on the PC CD-ROM will also be showcased.
Samurai Jack(TM) The Amulet of Time
For the first time ever, the phenomenally popular Cartoon Network series,
Samurai Jack(TM), makes its way to interactive entertainment. Debuting on the
Game Boy Advance, the title will offer beautifully detailed graphics and
extravagant environments. Players can discover vast worlds featuring scores
of characters and explore seven different lands, each with missions to
complete and interweaving storylines.
