Perot Systems and National Life Group Win Best First Steps From Outsourcing Center

Perot Systems Earns Fourth Award in Five Years

PLANO, Texas, May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perot Systems
Corporation (NYSE: PER) today announced that the company and its client,
National Life Group (NLGroup), are the recipients of the "Best First Steps"
award in the distinguished 2008 Outsourcing Excellence Awards. Sponsored
annually by the Everest Group and Forbes magazine, these awards honor the
most outstanding outsourcing relationships worldwide. Perot Systems also
received the "Best Partnership" ranking this year along with Harvard
Pilgrim Health Care.

This is the third straight year that Perot Systems has received an
award, the fourth in five years, and is the first Outsourcing Excellence
Award for National Life Group. Previously, Perot Systems received the "2004
Best Partnership" top honor with Owens & Minor, the "2006 Best ITO" with
Vanguard, and the "2007 Best Partnership" with Old Mutual Financial Network
(OMFN).

"Our connection with Perot Systems is very strong today, reflecting how
much we have grown and accomplished together in the past two years," states
Frank Costantino, vice president and chief technology officer, NLGroup.
"They worked with us through some difficult challenges, and we have an
excellent relationship as a result. We built a mutual trust that was based
on open communication, honesty and hard work."

The "Best First Steps" award, for relationships younger than one year
of working together beyond transition, is given to the relationship the
judges believe is the most outstanding example of companies structuring
their outsourcing arrangement on foundational best practices that will lead
to a successful relationship that can transition through challenges and
keep the parties' interests aligned as change occurs over the length of the
contract. Perot Systems and NLGroup were selected by a panel of industry
experts after a rigorous review of all components of relationship structure
as well as challenges and outcomes achieved within the first year.

"Our approach and commitment to NLGroup is something we are very proud
of, and something we bring to every client relationship," said John Vonesh,
president of Perot Systems' insurance and business process solutions group.
"This kind of commitment requires much of each organization, but it can
yield great rewards if we trust each other throughout the process in a true
spirit of cooperation."

"The judges deemed this relationship as the Best First Steps because of
the way Perot Systems and NLGroup built mutual trust early in their
relationship and the way they jointly worked through the challenges of
missing data and other issues arising during NLGroup's migration from a
prior service provider and failed relationship." said Debra Floyd, COO,
Outsourcing Center and Director, Outsourcing Excellence Awards program.

"By working together we were able to overcome some early obstacles,
which makes us even more proud of the award as a testament to the strength
of our relationship," added Bruce Palmer, Perot Systems client executive
for NLGroup.

Stories of the winning relationships, published by Outsourcing Center,
will be available online in the August issue of Outsourcing Journal
(http://www.outsourcing-journal.com).

Perot Systems provides third-party administration (TPA) and BPO
