Sponsored by CED and Biogen Idec, Bio NC is a unique branding and
awareness campaign highlighting the organizations that constitute the
dynamic bio-pharmaceutical industry of North Carolina.
BioScience companies AbD Serotec, Biolex and Erimos Pharmaceuticals,
service providers i3 Research, Charles River Labs and PPD are among the
life science-related organizations featured in the campaign. The effort
also features research institutes, non-profit organizations and
universities within the area.
"We are thrilled that BioSpace is launching the latest edition of their
Bio NC map at Biotech 2006," said CED President Monica Doss. "The North
Carolina biotech industry continues to grow and is now ranked #3 in the
nation, which is well reflected in the Bio NC campaign."
The campaign features the iconic Bio NC Map, created by BioSpace's
professional artist, which displays the corporate logos and facilities of
participating organizations. The map is further enhanced through the
integration of many functional components, including a Bio NC Hotbed
Homepage on BioSpace's industry leading Website, BioSpace.com. Copies of
the Bio NC Map are available through BioSpace.
"BioSpace would like to thank CED for their help in making this year's
