IRVINE, Calif., May 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gateway, the nation's
third-largest PC company, today announced that it has been awarded a $1.7
million contract to provide powerful dual-core notebook and desktop PC
products to the St. Johns County School District in Florida.
Gateway will supply more than 1,500 of its M465-E notebook PCs and 70
of its E-4500 desktop PCs to 26 schools in the district. The systems will
be used by teachers and administrators for classroom work, office
