- Neal Goff named head of expanded Weekly Reader Publishing Group -
PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y., May 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The integration of WRC
Media Inc. into Reader's Digest Association (RDA) nears completion with the
announcement of a new organizational structure coinciding with the move of
Weekly Reader Publishing (from Stamford, CT) and Gareth Stevens Publishing
(from Milwaukee, WI) into RDA headquarters near Pleasantville, NY,
yesterday. Effective immediately, the WRC education businesses - including
Weekly Reader magazines, books and custom publishing, Gareth Stevens, World
Almanac Education Library Services (WAELS), Facts on File News Service and
WRC's licensing business - will comprise the Weekly Reader Publishing
Group.
Neal Goff, previously president of Weekly Reader magazines, was named
President of the unit. "With this move we have fully integrated all of our
school publishing businesses under one management structure," said Goff.
