Food Network star, Paula Deen and Harrah's Entertainment executives
officially marked the grand opening of the newly refurbished facility with
a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and Deen and several family members entertained
and served patrons in the Paula Deen buffet.

"Today is a great day for Harrah's Entertainment, Paula Deen and
Tunica," said John Payne, president of Harrah's Entertainment's Central
Divison. "We've made the largest investment in Tunica in at least five
years because of our commitment to this market and to enhancing our network
of branded properties around the world."

Harrah's Tunica also includes the new, sleek restaurant, '37; the
trendy Sphere bar; the new World Series of Poker cardroom; and the newest,
most exciting, and interactive casino floor in Tunica.

"We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication our employees
have shown throughout the renovation period," said Bill Wright, general
manager of Harrah's Casino Tunica. "We are looking forward to 'wowing' our
guests with all the new changes and additions that exemplify the fact that
Harrah's is the fun place to play in Tunica."

The Paula Deen buffet is modeled after Deen's own house in Savannah,
Georgia. "I want you to feel like you are a guest in my house when you come
to Tunica to eat my cooking," she said. After browsing for special gifts in
the Paula Deen retail store, guests can choose to eat from different themed
food stations including: Granny Paul's Garden, Uncle Bubba's Oyster House,
Hoe Cake and Biscuit Station, Lady and Son's, Captain Michael's Smokehouse,
and Little Jack's Corner. Patrons may dine in one of six different rooms
including: Paula's parlor, the pantry, the famous bird cage room, the
porch, the mud room and the morning room.

"With this investment and announcement Harrah's Entertainment is
helping to solidify a bright future for the Tunica area and this great
state," said Haley Barbour, Governor of Mississippi. "We are looking
forward to many new and repeat visitors to Harrah's Tunica, the Paula Deen
Buffet, and most of all Mississippi, a state rich with history, culture and
offerings for tourists and residents alike."
