BILLERICA, Mass., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Peritus Software Services, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: PTUS), a provider of solutions for software maintenance,
today announced its financial results for the three months ended March 31,
1999. Total revenue decreased 50.5% to $4,667,000 from $9,433,000 in the
three months ended March 31, 1998. The net loss decreased 41.7% to $1,959,000
($0.12 per share) from the net loss of $3,358,000 ($0.21 per share) in the
three months ended March 31, 1998. Detailed results and commentary are
