DURHAM, N.C., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Central Carolina Bank announced today
that its Internet Banking service is up and running. The new service enables
customers to have real-time access to their banking information and pay bills
online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customers can sign on to the new
service from CCB's web site at http://www.ccbonline.com .
In addition to basic Internet banking features such as account information
and transaction capabilities, CCB has developed a highly personalized
financial portal called myCCB. Customers will be presented with their own
personal financial homepage containing a variety of timely and relevant
information designed to meet their individual needs. Customers will also be
able to customize myCCB with stock quotes, their choice of news and weather,
alerts about important dates and events, and a host of other value-added
features.
"We're very excited about our new Internet venture," said Ernest C.

providing our customers with more products and alternative delivery channels.
myCCB reaches out to customers in a new way, enabling us to develop closer
relationships with them and provide more value."
CCB used a rapid development methodology to develop its new Internet

loan accounts, bill payment capability, and their personal version of the
myCCB homepage. In addition to the personalized features available, CCB's

information, such as financial calculators and the ability to order their
personal credit report. CCB has also partnered with local businesses to offer
customers discounts on a variety of non-bank products and services.
"We didn't want to be the first financial institution to offer complete
Internet banking but we wanted to be the best," added Roessler. "We waited
until the technology was reliable and proven. We've developed a superior
product that is personalized for each customer. myCCB offers our customers
the best combination of high touch, high tech available."
Navigation is very intuitive and consistent throughout the site, making
CCB's new Internet Banking service very user-friendly. Regardless of where a
user finds themselves within the site, they can usually navigate to another

Internet Banking, including myCCB, is free to CCB retail customers with a
nominal fee for the Bill Payment service. Additional features and services
are already planned and will be implemented every few months.
