Peter Pappas Resigns as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Flight Services

    FORT WORTH, Texas, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Board of Directors of
Worldwide Flight Services, the largest independent flight services company in
the world of aviation, accepted the resignation of Peter Pappas, Chairman and
CEO.
    Pappas has served as CEO of Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. since 1999.
He came to Worldwide Flight Services with the purchase of AMR Services from
American Airlines by Castle Harlan Partners III.  The Board cited the
dedication that Pappas has made over the past two years for Worldwide.  Castle
Harlan's former and current industry holdings include companies such as,
Iontrac, Mag Aerospace, Smarte Carte, Commemorative Brands, Gravograph
Industrie International, Verdugt B.V. Group and Adobe Air, as well as Marie
Callender's Restaurant and Bakery.
    Executive Chairman Brad Stanius will fill the responsibilities of CEO and
COO.  Stanius served for three years as President and Chief Executive Officer
of Smarte Carte Inc., the largest international airport luggage cart and
locker services company.  He still retains his position on the board of
directors of Smarte Carte.  In addition, Brad has former experience as
founder, chairman and CEO of Pharmacy Network of Minnesota and as a former
member of the Minnesota House of Representatives
