The Pearl River County Disaster Loan Assistance Center located in the
Mississippi Mall, 1310 S. Haugh Street, Picayune, Mississippi will be open
from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., until Friday, May 26 at which time it will
cease operation. All other centers will continue to operation until further
notice or as noted.
"If you have any questions or need assistance, we hope you will come to
one of the centers and personally meet with a representative. The staff
will be glad to answer any questions about the disaster loan program, and
provide any extra help you may need," said Frank Skaggs, Director of SBA
Field Operations Center East.
SBA program information is available by calling the SBA's National
Customer Service Center at (1-800-659-2955 or 1-800-877-8339 for the
hearing impaired): Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EDT.
Business loan applications may be downloaded from the SBA website at
http://www.sba.gov/disaster. Applications may be returned to any of the
disaster assistance centers or mailed to: U. S. Small Business
Administration, National Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925
Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76155.
The deadline for returning applications for economic injury is May 29,
2006; the physical applications deadline ended April 10, 2006.
