Annual Meeting Will Still be Held May 30, 2001
COLUMBIA, Md., May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- GSE Systems, Inc. (GSE) (Amex: GVP),
a leading global provider of real time simulation and process control
solutions, today announced its intent to call a Special Meeting of its
shareholders.
GSE will hold a Special Meeting to address the authorization of additional
shares of common stock, approve a proposal from ManTech International
Corporation to convert its debt in GSE into equity, and to address a potential
Rights Offering to all GSE shareholders.
The company will issue a proxy statement specifically covering the above
issues in the near future. While the date of the Special Meeting has not been
set, it is anticipated that the Record Date for the Special Meeting will be on
or about June 15, 2001, and the Special Meeting will be held within sixty (60)
days thereafter. The proxy statement will include the date for the Special
Meeting.
