Visteon to Share its Expertise at Ergonomics International Congress in Guanajuato, Mexico

    MEXICO CITY, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Visteon Corporation (NYSE: VC), a
world leader in automotive integrated systems and components, will share its
expertise in ergonomics during the sixth annual Ergonomics International
Congress, May 26-29 in Guanajuato, Mexico.

    Arnold Love, global director of ergonomics for Visteon, will give a
presentation called "Ergonomic Tools" on May 28.  In addition, Dr. Carlos
Espejo, who is responsible for ergonomics, health and safety at Visteon's
Coclisa plant, Mexico, and the founder and president of the Mexican Ergonomics
Association (SEMAC), will participate in a panel discussing "Anthropometrics
and Ergonomic Analysis Tools" on the opening day of the Congress, May 26.
    Ergonomics is a multi-disciplinary activity that studies the behavior and
physical activities of individuals, with the aim of fitting products, systems
and environments to their characteristics, abilities, limitations and needs.
Ergonomics involves custom designing products to make individual's activities
-- at home, in the workplace or elsewhere -- more efficient.

    Visteon has participated in 10 Mexico-USA Bi-National Ergonomics
Conferences, six of which have involved additional countries.  Visteon also
supports the organization of the Central America and Caribbean Association for
Occupational Health and Safety, in cooperation with SEMAC and the Mexican Work
Health Federation (FENASTAC).
    The Ergonomics International Congress is organized by the Mexican
Ergonomics Association, and will take place in the Main Conference Room at the
University of Guanajuato.  This year the Congress is being held in conjunction
with the Mexico-USA Bi-National Ergonomics Conference.
