Free Family Event at each of its approximately 860 Michaels Arts & Crafts
Stores across the United States and Canada. Joining forces with Klutz, award
winning creator of activity products for kids, Michaels' come-and-go, family
fun activity will take place on Saturday, June 25, from 10:00am until 3:00pm
local time. To support this annual Michaels event, Klutz has created an
exclusive "Hatching Party" activity kit. This kit marks the introduction of
Chicken Socks, a new activity line from Klutz, arriving in Michaels stores for
the first time during this Free Family Event.
Kids (and parents!) will have the opportunity to showcase their
creativity, making foam collages inspired by the new Chicken Socks book: The
Foam Book. Participants are invited to create their own masterpieces with
free materials including foam shapes, wiggle eyes, glue sticks and a little
imagination. Michaels associates will be on hand to assist with easy step-by-
step instructions and to answer any questions. Many stores will also offer
additional activities in conjunction with the event. Inquire with local
