Simple to use web-based performance management products drive high levels
    of customer reinvestment

    OTTAWA, May 26 /PRNewswire/ - Halogen Software, the Employee Performance
Management (EPM) vendor of choice for hundreds of companies, is rapidly
expanding its business with established clients in addition to gaining market
share and securing record numbers of new clients each quarter.
    SunGard, Bridgestone Americas, Websense, SAVVIS Communications, Citizens
Property Insurance Corporation and others have recently made additional
license purchases of Halogen eAppraisal and Halogen e360.
    In addition to licensing more product, existing customers are investing
in Halogen's new product offerings. Alticor, Inc., Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr &
Huber and the University of Miami Hospital are among a long list of
organizations that recently added Halogen's new Multi-rater module for
eAppraisal and eAppraisal Healthcare to their existing investments.

    Recent purchases by Lee Enterprises (NYSE: LEE) reaffirms Halogen's
strategy. With thousands of employees spread across the U.S., Lee's HR
department is well acquainted with the pain experienced at employee review
time. After evaluating several web-based solutions against baseline criteria
including adaptability, scalability and ease of use, Lee purchased 6,000
licenses of eAppraisal. A recently announced successful M&A added several
thousand employees to the Lee family. This change prompted Lee to purchase an
additional 5,000 licenses.
