Longtime financial and operational management executive joins
life sciences pioneer
DEDHAM, Mass., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- In the latest of a series of new
management additions, Signet Laboratories, Inc., a pioneer in the development,
manufacture and distribution of monoclonal antibodies and diagnostic assays,
today named longtime life sciences executive John Hallinan as Chief Financial
Officer.
John Hallinan has over 20 years experience providing financial and
operational management to technology firms. Most recently, Mr. Hallinan
served as interim CFO at Cambium Learning, an educational publishing entity
funded by private equity, where he participated in two acquisitions. Prior to
Cambium, Mr. Hallinan was the CFO and VP of Business Development at AnVil, a
venture-backed in silico drug discovery company.

Prior to joining AnVil, Mr. Hallinan was CFO at Animation Technologies,
Inc., a top provider of interactive 3D applications and services to the legal
and corporate community. Mr. Hallinan also served nine years at CambridgeSoft
Corporation, the leading provider of desktop software to the pharmaceutical
and biotech industries, holding the positions of CFO, VP Finance, and
Controller, and where he played a key role in determining the strategic
direction of the company. Mr. Hallinan also serves as advisor to Axiom
Discovery, a discovery informatics start-up.
Mr. Hallinan also worked for Prime Computer and Computervision in a
variety of financial management positions including stints in business
development, international customer service, U.S. sales, and corporate
finance.
Mr. Hallinan earned his B.B.A. from St. Bonaventure University and is a
licensed C.P.A.
