WASHINGTON, May 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- This is the
WashingtonWatch.com federal legislative update for the week of May 26,
2008.

The House and Senate are not meeting this Memorial Day week. We will
take this time to briefly look at a bill recently passed, and one to be
considered when Congress returns.

Last week the president vetoed H.R. 2419, the Food and Energy Security

Act of 2007 provides for the continuation of agricultural programs through
fiscal year 2012. Passage of the bill will cost the average U.S. family
