today the development of the next PC game in the award-winning Gunship(R)
series, Gunship(R) III. Gunship III is a helicopter simulation for Windows(R)
95/98 based on actual U.S. army attack helicopters and tactics. Led by Scott
Spanburg, the design and engineering team is heightening the gameplay in
Gunship III with amazing graphic intensity and dynamic multiplayer action.

enhanced with the addition of realistic graphics, advanced artificial

III will work with M1 Tank Platoon(R) II, so that helicopter and tank fans can
fight together in the same battles."
Gunship III is a realistic aerial combat game where the player has the
ability to fly a selection of the world's most advanced and deadly military
helicopters. Capturing the feel of the original game, Gunship III will
showcase more detail, realistic graphics, dynamic mission generation, advanced
artificial intelligence, and multiplayer support over the network, modem, or
serial connection.
Gunship III features instant action play in single battle mode and dynamic
missions in campaign mode. In single battle, the player can fight
preconfigured battles and replay historical and hypothetical conflicts. In
the campaign, every dynamic mission is dictated by the player's demonstration
of strategic mastery from the previous mission. The mission type and size of
enemy forces available depends on the players performance. The multiplayer
gameplay in Gunship III includes support for M1 Tank Platoon II, which will be
the game industry's first multiplayer connection between helicopter and tank
simulation games. Players will be able to cooperatively fight in common
battles over a network, with some players commanding tanks in M1 Tank Platoon
II and others flying helicopters in Gunship III.
