AmeriServ Financial, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASRV) announced that its Board of Directors
approved a quarterly cash dividend on its Common Stock. The dividend is $0.09
per share and is payable July 3, 2002, to shareholders of record June 5, 2002.
On an annualized basis, the Company's current common stock dividend yield
approximates 7.2%.
