OfficeMax to Open Three Stores in Southwest Florida

      Region's Leading Office Supply Retailer to Expand in Naples-Bonita
                                 Springs Area

    ITASCA, Ill., May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- OfficeMax(R), one of the nation's
largest office supply retailers, today announced plans to open three new
superstores in the southwest Florida market of Naples-Bonita Springs.
    The stores, each 20,000-square-feet, are planned for the Coconut Point
Development in Estero, the Davis Crossings shopping center in southeast
Naples, and in the Tarpon Springs Plaza in East Naples. The stores are
scheduled to open between 2005 and 2006.
    OfficeMax currently is the leading office supply retailer in the Naples-
Bonita Springs region, where it already has three stores.
