BOULDER, Colo., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The Design Automation Conference
(DAC), the electronic design automation (EDA) industry's premier event, today
announced the new Exhibitor Liaison Committee (ELC) for the 41st DAC to be
held June 7-11, 2004 at the San Diego Convention Center. The ELC comprises
primarily DAC exhibitor representatives and conference executive committee
members who advise the DAC Executive Committee on exhibitor-related issues.
The ELC is responsible for suggesting ways to increase the overall value of
DAC to both the EDA vendor community as well as conference attendees. The
committee also provides input related to the exhibit floor, registration,
transportation, and hotel accommodations.
Chairing this year's ELC is Bryan Ackland, longtime EDA industry veteran
and consultant, and DAC executive committee member. Other members include:
Donna Castillo, Cadence Design Systems; Mindy Powers, CoWare; Gabe Moretti,
Reed Electronics Group; Tom Minot, Golden Gate Technology; Steve Pollock, IC
Manage; Dave Reed, Monterey Design Systems; Larry Eberle, Synopsys; and Ric

Communications, and members of the DAC Executive Committee, including Sharad
