MicroProse and Pepsi World Enter into a Premier Online Marketing Partnership

            MicroProse Games Targeted Straight for Generation Next

    ATLANTA, Electronic Entertainment Expo, May 29 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroProse,
Inc. (Nasdaq: MPRS/ MPRSD), a worldwide interactive entertainment company, and
Pepsi World, Pepsi Cola Company's entertainment-based online community
(http://www.pepsiworld.com), have entered into an online marketing partnership
which will highlight MicroProse's newest PC games as a premier interactive
entertainment software company within the site.  The first of six MicroProse
games, X-Com Interceptor(TM), will debut on June 1, 1998.
    "By partnering with Pepsi, we are now reaching beyond the core gamer and
into a mass market community where computer games will join movies and music
as a key source of entertainment," said Robert Botch, senior vice president of
marketing, MicroProse, Inc.  "Pepsi's site provides us with a unique
interactive environment where we can effectively showcase our games and 3D
graphics technology."
    With over half a million visitors per day, the Pepsi World site provides a
high-profile launch pad for the next generation of PC games MicroProse is
releasing.  The web pages for the games will consist of downloadable demos,
detailed information about each game, in-depth interviews with game
developers, and contests to win MicroProse games and other PC products such as
joysticks and 3D graphic cards.

    MicroProse has chosen six key titles to be featured in the Pepsi World
promotion; X-Com Interceptor, MechCommander(TM), Falcon(R) 4.0, Star Trek(R):
The Next Generation Klingon Honor Guard(TM), Top Gun(R): Hornet's Nest(TM),
and Guardians: Agents of Justice(TM).
    Featured games on the site will be updated monthly while the previous
month's game will be available via an archived link on the site.  This feature
will allow gamers to access information on their favorite games throughout the
year.  An extensive source of information for the customer, each game will
have more than 15 web pages of information available.
