LEXINGTON, Mass., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of
Raytheon Company (RTNA, RTNB) today elected W. Christopher Bade, Glenn H.
Lenzen Jr., and John P. Nahill officers of the company, effective immediately.
Bade, 41, is vice president of Strategic Planning and Business
Development. He joined the company in that position in July 1999. His
responsibilities include the company's strategic planning process, identifying
new business opportunities and leading Raytheon's global trading exchange
team. Bade worked for Textron, Inc., A.T. Kearney and Arthur D. Little prior
to joining Raytheon. He is also a former captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Bade holds a bachelor's degree from Boston College and an MBA from the Fuqua
School of Business at Duke University.
Lenzen, 52, is vice president of Intellectual Property and Licensing. In
this role, he is responsible for the development, management and exploitation
of Raytheon's intellectual property. Lenzen joined Raytheon in 1995 and served
as an assistant general counsel and chief patent officer. Before coming to
Raytheon, he held positions as an attorney at several companies and law firms.
He received his law degree from Loyola University of Chicago and holds an MBA
from St. Mary's College of California.
Nahill, 35, is vice president, Corporate Development. In this position,
all merger, acquisition and divestiture activity of the company are organized
under his management. He joined Raytheon in March 1999 as vice president of
Financial Analysis. Prior to joining Raytheon, Nahill was a senior engagement
manager in the Boston office of McKinsey & Company. He is a graduate of
Connecticut College and received his master's degree from the MIT Sloan School
of Management.
