  U4EA's Session Controllers Interoperate With BroadSoft's Market-Leading
BroadWorks VoIP Application Platform to Support IP Telephony Service
                                 Offerings

    FREMONT, California, May 30 /PRNewswire/ -- U4EA Technologies has
successfully completed interoperability validation as a technology partner
with BroadSoft, a leading provider of VoIP applications software. U4EA's
ICAD40 and ICAD80 Business Gateways are fully interoperable with IP
telephony services from leading carriers worldwide, provided on BroadSoft's
BroadWorks VoIP application platform.
The ICAD40 and ICAD80 give service providers significant potential for
maximizing revenues through cost-effective provisioning of carrier-class IP
services to SME customers. These advanced VoIP Business Gateways are single
box solutions for the customer premises. The session control functionality
is incorporated with a complete set of networking features for converged
voice and data services over IP, including multi-service QoS with real-time
service monitoring, high performance wirespeed IDS security and built-in
VoIP survivability.
ICAD Business Gateways provide a convenient transition path from legacy
services, where customers can be smoothly migrated to all-IP. Both new and
existing services are simple to manage and ensure reliable service
delivery, providing new revenue streams, opportunities for Opex and Capex
savings and reduced customer churn.
"We are pleased to have achieved interoperability validation with
BroadSoft for our Business Gateways." said Perry Teevens, U4EA's VP Sales
and Business Development. "U4EA's multi-service access CPE equipment
complements the use of BroadWorks-based VoIP services. With ICAD service
providers enjoy reduced overhead, easier endpoint management and customer
service, and are able to deliver a more robust, feature-rich and practical
end-user experience. Our partnership with BroadSoft is an important first
step towards delivery of our industry leading technology."
"BroadSoft continues to add interoperability partners, offering new
options to carriers." said Scott Wharton, vice president of marketing for
BroadSoft. "U4EA performed extensive interoperability testing on their next
generation devices. As a result of this successful completion, we welcome
them on-board as an access technology partner."
