WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Starwood Hotels & Resorts
Worldwide, Inc. announced today that it will manage The St. Regis Monarch
Beach Resort, Dana Point, California, increasing the number of St. Regis

Angeles, which will open in the Fall of 2000. The St. Regis Monarch Beach
Resort is a $240 million project that is part of the $337 million, 200-acre
development that includes the Monarch Links Golf Course and 70 luxury homes,

meeting facilities for business travelers as well as exclusive beach access to
accommodate large groups. We look forward to developing other St. Regis beach
