LOS ANGELES, May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Ralphs Supermarkets is excited to
announce the latest giveaway in connection with its popular Ralphs Club and
Senior Rewards frequent shopper programs.
Beginning Wednesday, May 30, customers are automatically entered for a
chance to win one of 98 trips to the destination of their choice anywhere in
the United States every time they use their Ralphs Club or Senior Rewards card
to purchase groceries. In addition to the free trips, winners will receive
$5,000 in spending money. One winner will be selected each day for 98 days
until the contest concludes on Tuesday, September 4. The sweepstakes is
available in all 297 Ralphs locations throughout Southern California.
Ralphs Club and Senior Rewards cardholders will receive one entry each
time they purchase groceries, plus one additional bonus entry for each meat,
seafood or produce item purchased. No purchase is necessary and customers
also can enter the sweepstakes by U.S. mail. Winners will be randomly
selected by an independent judging organization.
"Our vacation sweepstakes offers us an opportunity to reward our loyal
customers not only with significant savings on the items they buy most, but
also with plenty of chances to win trips and money," said Chuck Ackerman,
senior vice president of sales and marketing for Ralphs.
The vacation giveaway is part of Ralphs summer-long "Country Fair"
promotion. The promotion also includes the opportunity for Ralphs Club and
Senior Rewards cardholders to earn money towards the purchase of meat, produce
and seafood during the summer months.
The Ralphs Club Card and Senior Rewards Card (for shoppers at least
60 years old) entitle Ralphs shoppers to extra savings on thousands of items
throughout the store, and they're free. Customers may sign up for the cards
at their local Ralphs supermarkets. Currently, more than 10 million Ralphs
customers are either Ralphs Club or Senior Rewards cardholders.
