Team Up For World's Largest Diaper Derby
PITTSBURGH, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Approximately 100 babies from the
Tri-State area will be sporting pint-sized uniforms and speed-crawling to the
finish line in the World's Largest Diaper Derby, scheduled for 12:30 p.m.,
Sunday, June 4 at Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium.
Co-sponsored by Heinz Baby Food, Huggies Diapers, Giant Eagle and the
Pittsburgh Pirates, this record-breaking event is expected to be the premiere
of the world's largest diaper derby. Fans filling Three Rivers Stadium will
cheer on diaper-clad babies and toddlers 14 months and younger before the
Pittsburgh vs. Kansas City game at 1:30 p.m.

As part of the event:
-- First, second and third-place prizes will be awarded to the fastest
crawlers, including a $5,000 savings bond for first place; a $2,500
savings bond for second place; and a $1,000 savings bond for third
place.
-- All participants will receive free cloth tote bags packed with toy,
bibs and other surprises from Heinz, Huggies, Giant Eagle and the
Pittsburgh Pirates.
-- All kids 14 years of age and under will receive a Pirate Parrot Beach
Beanie Doll as part of Major League Baseball Kids Day and Pirate
Giveaway Day.
Throughout May, parents who purchased 30 jars of Heinz Baby Food at
participating Giant Eagle stores received a free pack of Huggies Diapers, a
$6 value, and the chance to have their child selected to race in the World's
Largest Diaper Derby.
