ROYAL OAK, Mich., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Women In Communications of
Detroit will host "Surf Instead of Sweat through WWW Work," a seminar designed
to showcase web technology without the technical jargon, on Thursday, June 17
at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield.
Elements of the seminar will include a segment on search engine
optimization, "Optimization is Key," presented by EFGforward, Inc. president
Betsy Erikson, and "Technology is for Everyone," which will talk further about
web design, presented by Aimee and Dino Baskovic. Erikson is a member of the
Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization and the Public Relations
Society of America. Aimee Baskovic is a public relations professional with
John Bailey and Associates in Troy and Dino has his own interactive business,
36 Hours, in Berkley.
The seminar is open to the public and will be held in the Lear Auditorium.
Tickets prices are $12 for WIC members and $20 for nonmembers. Light hors
d'oeuvres, cookies and beverages will be provided. Lawrence Technological
