DETROIT, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Join IABC/Detroit as it honors Metro

Renaissance Awards on Tuesday, June 14, 2005. This year's banquet takes place
at the VisTaTech Center, located on the campus of Schoolcraft College in
Livonia.
The Renaissance Awards is IABC/Detroit's premier program, honoring
business communicators from southeast Michigan. Awards will be presented in
42 categories ranging from communication management programs to art and design

the Communicator of the Year and the Student Achievement Award.
"The Renaissance Awards is a time to acknowledge the hard work and
dedication of the professionals in our field," said Debra Salem, Renaissance
Awards co-chairperson. "Every year it becomes more difficult to select the
winners due to the high quality of entries submitted, and this year was no
different."
The program begins at 5 p.m. with a reception where you'll have an
opportunity to network with your peers, review winning entries and benchmark
industry standards, followed by dinner and the awards presentation. Marie
Osborne, reporter and anchor for WWJ NewsRadio 950 is hosting this year's
event.
The event is sponsored by The Creative Group, PR Newswire, and Video
Monitoring Services (VMS). Additional support has been provided by AAA
