James Lamparter Promoted to Group Manager
ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- InterFirst Wholesale Mortgage
Lending, a division of ABN AMRO Mortgage Group, and the nation's top wholesale
lender, recently promoted James Lamparter to group manager, southwest
division. Previously, Lamparter served as vice president and regional manager
for InterFirst's western region sales group.
"InterFirst's continued sales growth in the southwest area of the country
has necessitated the expansion of the West Sales Region, creating a Southwest
Sales Region. Under James' leadership, InterFirst's sales are anticipated to
follow the current growth trend," said Collyer Smith, national sales manager.

As southwest division group manager, Lamparter will oversee InterFirst's
southern California, Arizona and New Mexico sales staff, as well as the growth
of key accounts within those states. Lamparter will also serve as the
InterFirst corporate liaison to the 23 employees in the southwest division.
Lamparter has more than a decade of experience in the mortgage industry.
Lamparter's career with ABN AMRO Mortgage Group began in 1994, when he became
broker account manager for LaSalle Home Mortgage. Lamparter has also served
as an account executive for InterFirst.
Lamparter holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration
from the University of Southern California.
