North American International Auto Show Names WDIV-TV Official Local Broadcast Partner for 2005-07

    DETROIT, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The North American International Auto Show
(NAIAS) today named WDIV-TV in Detroit as the official local broadcast partner
for the 2005 through 2007 shows.
    Specific programming plans will be announced at a later date.
    "WDIV-TV presented a compelling proposal that will help reach key
audiences in metro Detroit and Ontario, bringing people even closer to the
exciting vehicles and attractions showcased by our exhibitors and sponsors at
the NAIAS," said Bill Cook, senior co-chairman for the NAIAS 2005.  "WDIV-TV
has a tremendously talented and well-respected team on camera and behind the
scenes and we look forward to working with them over the next three years."
    Richard Genthe, co-chairman of the NAIAS 2005, praised the NAIAS' previous
media partner, WXYZ-TV, for its contributions over the past eight years.
    "WXYZ-TV has been a valued contributor to the NAIAS' growth," Genthe said.
"Its coverage of the show and of the Charity Preview has been spectacular.  We
have a great deal of respect for their team and we wish them the best in the
future."

    NAIAS 2005 Dates
    Press Preview Days will be held Sunday, Jan. 9, through Tuesday, Jan. 11,
2005.  Industry Preview Days will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 12, and Thursday,
Jan. 13, 2005.  Charity Preview will be held Friday evening, Jan. 14, 2005.
The public is encouraged to call 888-838-7500 to be placed on a wait list for
tickets to the 2005 Charity Preview.  Public Days are Saturday, Jan. 15,
through Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005.
