launch of its new proprietary CCTV remote view and control product marketed as
SmartTrack Mobile.
SmartTrack Mobile was developed for Sentry by Trakonic and provides
remote control of CCTV images and movement over wireless local area networks,
using a hand held Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). Security personnel and
facility managers are free to tour their facilities while maintaining full
viewing and control of their video surveillance system via a hand-held PDA. In
addition, the solution includes Digital Video Recording capabilities along
with web-enabled access for off site viewing.
SmartTrack Mobile includes proprietary software providing enhanced
functionality for Sentry's SmartTrack Traveling CCTV System. "Our new
SmartTrack Mobile solution provides unequalled viewing, control and recording
when integrated with our SentryVision(R) SmartTrack System," said Peter L.
