      Momentum Accelerates With 4th Consecutive Month of Positive Comps

    MIAMI, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Burger King Corporation today announced that
its May 2004 results show U.S. franchise same-restaurant sales up + 7.2 % and
company same-restaurant sales up + 10.1 % year-over-year. These monthly sales
are the highest in 4 1/2 years (since November 1999).
