Charles Kaplan, Chief Security Strategist
As chief security strategist at Mazu Networks, Charles Kaplan provides
strategic guidance and support for the company's engineering, marketing and
sales teams. Drawing from 15 years of information security experience, and
participation in developing the security programs at more than 1,000
companies, Kaplan is a recognized expert at architecting, implementing,

Previously, Kaplan was the chief information security officer for
VeriSign Managed Security Services (MSS), where he served as a thought
leader, strategist and evangelist for the organization. Prior to joining
