Mattel to Webcast Analyst Conference

    EL SEGUNDO, Calif., June 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mattel, Inc.
(NYSE: MAT) today announced that it will webcast a presentation to
securities analysts on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 beginning at 12:00 p.m.
(EDT). The webcast will include presentations by the company's chairman and
chief executive officer, Robert A. Eckert, and the company's chief
financial officer, Kevin Farr.

    A link to the broadcast and related presentation slides will be
provided through the "Investors & Media" section of the company's corporate
Web site, http://www.mattel.com. To listen to the live event, logon to the
Web site at least 15 minutes early to register, download and install any
necessary audio software. An archive of the presentation may be accessed
beginning three hours after the completion of the live event.
