Playboy.com to Launch Comprehensive Bachelor Party Service

Forms Strategic Alliance With #1 Wedding Website The Knot

    NEW YORK, June 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Playboy.com, the preeminent online men's
lifestyle and entertainment destination, announced plans to create a bachelor
party service within Playboy.com's network of sites. The announcement was
made by Kevin Mayer, CEO, Playboy.com. As part of the new service,
Playboy.com will partner with The Knot ( http://www.theknot.com ), the leading online
wedding resource, to help deliver the best in bachelor party content and tools
to grooms and their groomsmen.
Playboy.com's bachelor party service will be the definitive and most
comprehensive source of bachelor party planning tools, local resources, ideas,

launch -- scheduled for this summer - the July issue of Playboy magazine will
feature an article on bachelor parties by Christopher Napolitano.
"Playboy.com's partnership with The Knot brings together two online
leaders to fill a void in the marketplace," said Mayer. "The wedding business
is $50 billion annually, so the bachelor party market is a natural target for
us. We are confident that The Knot's experience in building a highly
interactive and incredibly popular wedding site will be a huge asset in the
development of Playboy.com's bachelor party service."
"We're happy to lend our expertise to one of most recognized global brands
for men as Playboy.com launches this unparalleled service for bachelor
parties," says Michael Wolfson, co-founder of The Knot. "The Knot has always
strived to create the most in-depth and comprehensive experience for the male
to-be-wed audience. With nearly 20% of our audience being men, we are always
looking for new ways to expand our reach and value to the groom and his guys.
This partnership with Playboy.com is a great example of our strategy to
partner with the best in each and every step in the wedding planning process."
