- Continental Designates Galileo as Long-Term Distribution Partner -
PARSIPPANY, N.J., June 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Galileo
International, a leading global distribution system (GDS), and subsidiary
of Cendant Corp. (NYSE: CD) today announced a five-year, full content
agreement with Continental Airlines. Through the agreement, all of
Continental's published fares and inventory will be available to all users
of the Galileo GDS system including Galileo-connected travel agencies,
corporate customers and Cendant TDS online agencies booking through
Galileo. In addition, Continental and CheapTickets, a subsidiary of Cendant
Corp., also executed a new five-year strategic partnership in which
CheapTickets and its affiliates will provide Continental's full range of
product, services and inventory to their customers.
