DENVER, CO USA
    DENVER, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- RMI.NET, Inc. (Nasdaq: RMII), a national
e-commerce and connectivity company, announced today that it has been chosen
as one of a select few national Internet companies to test multiple-company
access to high-speed, cable Internet service over a hybrid fiber-coaxial
network.

Other companies that were selected by AT&T Broadband include: AOL,
Excite@home, Mindspring, MSN, WorldNet and Yahoo!. The City of Boulder has
been approached, and agreed to host the broadband trial focusing on the Denver
Metropolitan-area.
Operational meetings have taken place with AT&T and MediaOne outlining
project implementation of the following areas: interconnections, network
connectivity, capacity, order entry, billing, trouble ticketing, installation,
customer care, and marketing.
"We are hopeful this trial is the first step to full open equal access and
consistent with our public policy efforts," said Doug H. Hanson, CEO, and
Chairman of RMI.NET. "Properly implemented, the broadband platform will be a
perfect complement to RMI's existing high-speed backbone, and will be a great
benefit to consumers."
AT&T Cable, in a press release earlier in the day, announced that the
six-month access trial will begin in November 2000.
"Pricing, technical and operating details still need to be worked out,"
added Hanson, "but we are pleased that AT&T has selected RMI.NET as a leading
partner in what could be a precedent-setting industry breakthrough."
