Company Adds Additional Resources in Critical Area
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., June 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Triad Guaranty Inc.
(Nasdaq: TGIC) announced that its subsidiary, Triad Guaranty Insurance
Corporation, has hired Ralph DeFranco as Vice President, Risk
Management/Product Development, effective immediately. This is a new position
for the Company.
In his position, DeFranco will be responsible for strengthening Triad's
mortgage analytics, enhancing existing mortgage insurance products, and
designing new vehicles for structured transactions. He will report to Ken
Foster, Senior Vice President, Risk Management, in carrying out his
responsibilities. DeFranco will relocate to the Winston-Salem area in the
near future.
"Ralph has extensive experience in designing and implementing models that
analyze loan characteristics and predict loan performance in the residential
mortgage market," said Foster. "His analytical and communication skills will
be major assets as we direct more resources to this critical area of our
business. Ralph is a great addition to our risk management and product
development teams."
DeFranco was previously with LoanPerformance, San Francisco, CA, most
recently as Product Manager where he lead a team of model builders and
programmers in forecasting residential mortgage prepayment, delinquency,
default and loss. Previously he was with MIMER Corporation and Ashton-Tate as
a technical writer.
DeFranco holds a BA and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of
California, Berkeley and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
