Applied Imaging Opens New Corporate Headquarters

    SAN JOSE, Calif., June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Applied Imaging Corp.
(Nasdaq: AICX) today announced the opening of its new corporate headquarters
in San Jose, California.  The Company's 24,000 square foot facility houses all
corporate functions and features custom-designed manufacturing and warehousing
facilities.  The new headquarters, 70% larger than the previous location, will
also house sales, marketing and customer service for North America.
    "Our new headquarters provides ample room for expansion as we continue to
build on our core cytogenetic business, grow our OncoPath(TM) business and
move forward with the development of our circulating tumor cell program," said
Chief Executive Officer Carl Hull.  "We are pleased to be operating in a first

leadership in cell imaging systems for the clinical laboratory."
