Raytheon Delivers First Operational DCGS 10.2 System

    GARLAND, Texas, June 9, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE:
RTN) has delivered the first operational Distributed Common Ground System
10.2 to the U.S. Air Force.

    Dubbed DGS-2, the system is the first of five planned core sites to
undergo installation, integration and checkout in preparation for site
acceptance testing at Beale Air Force Base, Calif.

    "With the delivery of the DGS-2 system to Beale, the Air Force DCGS
10.2 truly moves closer to the sharing of real-time intelligence data to

Systems. "The DCGS 10.2 upgrade will provide continuous on-demand
intelligence brokering to enable U.S. and coalition forces to get the

    When fully fielded, DCGS Block 10.2 will be a worldwide, distributed
network-centric enterprise architecture that enables collaborative
intelligence operations and production. Its environment provides for both
