Nevada Power Company Elects Michael R. Niggli Chairman of the Board
 
    LAS VEGAS, June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Nevada Power Company (NYSE: NVP)
announced today the election of Michael R. Niggli as chairman of the board.
Mr. Niggli joined Nevada Power Company on February 2, 1998 as president and
chief operating officer and was named chief executive officer on February 12,
1999.

1.4 million residents of Las Vegas and southern Nevada and is the nation's
