GN Netcom Names David Snow Vice President of Sales

 Former PictureTel Executive to Spearhead Business Development Efforts Across
                     All Sales and Distribution Channels

    NASHUA, N.H., June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- GN Netcom, Inc., the world leader in
hands-free communications solutions, announced today that is has appointed
David Snow vice president of sales for its Americas operations. Formerly
executive vice president, worldwide sales & strategic initiatives for
PictureTel (now part of Polycom, NASDAQ: PLCM), Snow will be responsible for
channel management, business development and customer service.

    DiIulio also noted that strategic OEM partnerships in the call center,

    During his six years at PictureTel, Snow had worldwide responsibility for
sales and business development and managed a direct and channel sales
organization with representation in 72 countries.  Prior to PictureTel, he was
unit general manager of Strategic Mapping, based in Santa Clara, California
and Lowell, Mass. He was also vice president, sales and marketing at Software
Quality Automation (Woburn, Mass.) and vice president, business unit general
manager for Spectrum Interactive (Bedford, Mass.).
    Snow graduated from Salem State College in 1979 with a degree in Finance,
and received his MBA in 1984 from Suffolk University. He lives in Reading with
his wife and two children.
