TotalMRO.com and SAP to Demo Interoperability at Sapphire(R) 2000 Conference

SAP'S B2B Procurement Customers Can Now Access 'Everything MRO'

    CHICAGO, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- TotalMRO.com(SM), Grainger's newest
eCommerce initiative will demo its connectivity to SAP's Business-to-Business
Procurement (BBP) solution at the SAPPHIRE(R) 2000 conference being held in
Las Vegas June 14-16. Grainger Group President Donald E. Bielinski and SAP
Americas President Chris Larsen will talk about key customer benefits at their
presentation on Thursday, June 15, entitled "TotalMRO.com and mySAP.com(TM):
Allowing Access to Everything MRO."
TotalMRO.com provides customers one-stop, real-time access to easily
searchable product information, images, contract pricing, and availability for
maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) supplies from major MRO distributors.
This easy-to-use, intuitive site brings together buyers and sellers and helps
them remove process costs from the highly fragmented MRO supply chain by
organizing the content needed to make business decisions.
"TotalMRO.com represents a strategic break-through for Grainger. It
provides customers one-stop access to the MRO supply chain - allowing the
customer to choose the best supplier based on their situational needs," says
Mr. Bielinski.
TotalMRO.com's technology infrastructure is designed to be compatible with
many procurement solutions. In addition to connecting to SAP's BBP solution,
TotalMRO.com will be available through a wide variety of B2B eCommerce
platforms, including market exchanges, portals, and other marketplaces.
"Sapphire 2000 provides us with an excellent opportunity to showcase our
relationship with SAP as well as the features and capabilities of
TotalMRO.com," said Liz Olig, president of TotalMRO.com. A second conference
demonstration, presented by Ms. Olig, will provide another opportunity to see
a first-hand overview of the site's functionality and its connectivity to
SAP's platform.
