NEW YORK, June 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Siemens Corporation has named
Aubert Martin president and chief executive officer of Siemens Energy &
Automation, Inc. (SE&A), effective immediately. He previously served as the
global president of the motion controls division of Siemens Automation &
Drives group. Martin will be based at the SE&A headquarters in Alpharetta, Ga.
He succeeds Richard C. Buzun, who is retiring.

and chief executive officer of Siemens Corporation. "He brings to our U.S.
organization the proven leadership and business acumen needed to drive SE&A to
the top of the increasingly competitive industrial and construction sectors."
Martin began his career with Siemens in 1967 and has held various
positions in engineering, sales and marketing, and business development in the
company's Automation & Drives business units. Prior to his last assignment,
Martin led the high-speed trains division of Siemens Transportation Systems
headquartered in Erlangen, Germany.
In his new position, Martin will be responsible for all of SE&A's staff
functions, subsidiaries and business operations in the United States. The
company manufactures and markets a wide variety of electrical and electronic
equipment and systems in the industrial and construction market segments.
Martin, age 59, is a native of Austria. He holds a master's degree in
electrical engineering from the Technical University of Vienna.
In the U.S., SE&A employs more than 9,500 workers in roughly 40
manufacturing, assembly, and distribution facilities. In the industrial
markets, SE&A provides factory automation, motors and drives, motion control,
integrated systems and solutions, and technical services. In the construction
market, SE&A provides residential distribution equipment, circuit protection
components and power distribution equipment and solutions.
Buzun has been the president and CEO of SE&A since October 2000. He
joined the company in 1994, and held a number of posts including that of
executive vice president and chief operating officer with responsibility for
all operating divisions of SE&A. He began his professional career with the
General Electric Company where he held positions in sales, marketing, plant
management, general management and sales management.
