corporation organized by PTC users, today announced that the annual PTC/USER
World Event-Americas, taking place June 13-16 in Nashville, will host
customers from more than 20 countries around the world, as PTC's influence on
global product development continues to grow. The event will feature more
than 80 technical and business seminars, tutorials and demonstrations
presented by expert PTC users, partners and PTC staff. Highlights include a
keynote session presented by David Holden, team engineer with NASCAR's

With adoption of PTC's Product Development System (PDS) continuing to
grow, this year's event will provide users an opportunity to participate in
hands-on training and best practices sessions focused on key PTC solutions,
including the newest versions of PTC's design software, Pro/ENGINEER
Wildfire(TM) 2.0, and new collaboration and control solution Windchill(R) 7.0.
Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire(TM) has achieved record customer adoption of an
estimated 52% percent since its introduction in February 2003. PTC has also
achieved success with Windchill(R) 7.0, growing the Windchill customer base by
almost 15% in just six months since its introduction.
"This year's PTC/USER event is coming in the midst of a lot of excitement
and focus on PTC and its newest product offerings," said Pierre Quesnel,
president of PTC/USER. "The latest releases of PTC's product design and PLM
solutions are enjoying strong customer adoption. Our event provides users the
opportunity to gather with peers, partners and PTC to learn and share tips,
techniques and best practices -- to help them maximize their PTC experience."
