strategy to further expand into U.S. suburban rental car markets, The Hertz
Corporation has opened three new Hertz Local Edition facilities in the greater
Rochester, NY area.
The new Rochester-area locations underscore Hertz's commitment to serve
customers for insurance replacement, business and vacation car rentals away
from airports where Hertz is the market leader. During the past three years,
Hertz has almost doubled its suburban Local Edition locations to more than
1100 nationwide.
The new rental locations provide Hertz customers with pick up and drop off
service, a full range of rental vehicles including minivans and compact
through full-size cars, Hertz #1 Club Gold(R) counter service, and child car
seats in a variety of sizes. Vehicles equipped with NeverLost(R), Hertz'
industry-leading in-car global positioning system or Sirius Satellite Radio
may be requested at time of rental. As with all Hertz corporate locations,
vehicles are available for rent with unlimited mileage and all rate structures
are honored, including one-way, inter-city rates.
The new Hertz Local Edition offices are open Monday though Friday, from
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The new
locations are as follows:
* 15 Elmgrove Park, Rochester - Located inside the Elmgrove Park Auto
Mall just off Route 531.
* 1301 E. Ridge Rd., Rochester - Located in the Town of Irondequoit.
* 840 Lehigh Station Rd., W. Henrietta - Located just off Route 390.
