Ralphs to present $15,000 in donations to neighborhood schools and local
non-profit organizations as part of grand opening celebration
IRVINE, Calif., June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Committed to serving the

the opening of a uniquely designed supermarket in the Woodbury Shopping
Center.
Following nine months of construction, the 54,000 square-foot
supermarket is set to celebrate its grand opening as an upscale Ralphs
"Fresh Fare" supermarket on Friday, June 15 at 8 a.m. The store is located
at 6300 Irvine Boulevard.
"Every inch of our Woodbury supermarket has been designed to make
shopping easier with enhanced key areas to give shoppers even more reasons
to think Ralphs first," said Dave Hirz, president of Ralphs Supermarkets.
"We have been serving the residents of Irvine for many years, and it's a

to build."
Fresh Fare is Ralphs' most exciting supermarket format. A step above
most other supermarkets, Ralphs Fresh Fare stores are uniquely designed as
points of destination for shoppers who want the very best. At Ralphs Fresh
Fare, customers will find a supermarket filled with the finest cuisine,
gourmet specialty products and exotic produce.

Managing the new Woodbury Fresh Fare store is veteran Store Director
Dave Lamb. Lamb most recently managed the Ralphs supermarket in San Pedro.

Woodbury Ralphs Fresh Fare," Lamb said. "We're excited and we're ready.
We've been working very hard to get the store ready for our customers, and
we're eager to serve their needs. We are committed to providing the

Customers visiting the Woodbury Ralphs Fresh Fare will enjoy an
exciting assortment of very special offerings. These include an abundance
of fresh and organic produce, a fully staffed meat department featuring the
highest quality meats and fresh seafood, a bakery overflowing with aromas
of freshly baked breads and gourmet desserts, and a wine cellar featuring a
large selection premium wines, spirits and champagnes.
As an added feature for customers on the go, or for those who simply
want a break from cooking, the new Woodbury Ranch store offers fresh sushi,
hot Asian foods, a fresh olive and antipasta bar, gourmet cheeses, carved
meats, soups, sandwiches, and an extensive selection of ready-to-eat and
heat-and-serve items.
The store also features a full-service Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf mini-cafe
and a full-service pharmacy.
Another highlight of the new store is Ralphs Optimum Wellness Center, a
complete offering of natural supplements and health and beauty items,
homeopathic and Eastern medicines, books, apparel and accessories. The
Center features an interactive kiosk where customers can access health and
wellness information and an attendant to answer questions.
To highlight the Woodbury Ralphs Fresh Fare opening, the Company's
charitable organization, The Ralphs/Food 4 Less Foundation, will present
donations totaling $15,000 to Team Up For Down Syndrome, Irvine Pony
League, Great Park Conservancy and Westwood Basics Plus School (K-6),
Northwood High School Band, and Northwood High School Cheer. The new store
will also have a budget to make donations locally throughout the year.
