(Nasdaq: AICX) ( http://www.aicorp.com ) announced that it has signed a multiple-year
distribution and product development agreement with Digital Scientific, Ltd, a
UK-based designer of novel imaging tools for advanced fluorescence microscopy.
Under the terms of this agreement, Applied Imaging will be the exclusive
worldwide distributor of Digital Scientific's SmartCapture family of products.
These innovative fluorescence imaging applications will be incorporated into
the Quips(R) PathVysion(TM) system, designed to assist pathology labs with the
more accurate documentation of three-dimensional, multi-color images of tissue
and biopsy specimens.
