LAS VEGAS, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- MGM Grand, Inc. (NYSE: MGG) today
announced the election of Robert H. Baldwin to its Board of Directors and
Executive Committee.
Robert H. Baldwin began his career in the gaming industry in 1982 as a
consultant at the Golden Nugget. After a rapid succession of promotions
within the organization, in 1984 he was appointed President of downtown's only
four-star resort.
In 1987, Mr. Baldwin was appointed President and CEO of The Mirage. He
and his executive management team redefined the standards by which Las Vegas
properties are judged and engineered one of the most successful destination
resort openings in the hospitality industry.
Mr. Baldwin is currently President and CEO of Mirage Resorts,
Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of MGM Grand, Inc. In addition, Mr.
Baldwin continues to serve as President and CEO of Bellagio, a position he has
held since October of 1998.
