ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global customer care

Mediacom Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: MCCC), the nation's 8th largest
cable television company passing approximately 2.77 million homes and serving

Mediacom Communications has deployed the Electronic Bill Presentment and
Payment (EBPP) module within CSG Care Express to give its subscribers the
ability to view, manage and pay their bills online.
"By offering a new channel to pay bills and conduct other business online,
we can raise the level of customer service we provide while giving our
customers an easy way to maintain their accounts," said Charles Bartolotta,
senior vice president, Customer Operations, Mediacom Communications. "Moving
statements and bill payment online also frees our customer service
representatives from taking routine account inquiry calls and allows them to
focus on higher-value customer care functions."
CSG is now working with Mediacom Communications to implement the Customer
Self-Care module of Care Express that will allow subscribers to activate new
services and manage account information online.
"Based on successful customer implementations like Mediacom's, CSG was
recently recognized for its effective use of EBPP and customer self-care tools
worldwide with the Frost & Sullivan Award for Vertical Market Strategy," said
Ed Nafus, president, CSG's Broadband Services Division. "Mediacom's use of
online EBPP and self-care tools will allow its customers to interact with
their provider on their terms, while reducing operational costs."
CSG Care Express virtually eliminates manual processes carried out by
customer service representatives (CSRs) when taking orders and upgrading
services. Currently, new customers across the country are signing up for Care
Express services at a rate of over 5,000 new users per day. With the addition
of Mediacom Communications, CSG provides access to online customer self-care
services to nearly 23 million cable and high-speed data subscribers.
